I got into recruiting through volunteering to help people in transition or looking to transition. I ended up enjoying my volunteer work more than I got paid to do (marketing) & decided to make a career change. The part of my job I like the most is finding jobs for people, though I'm actually hired to find people for jobs. I feel that caring about fit both ways makes for greater fullfillment (candidate/client) & better retention rates.
