IDR is seeking a Principal Delivery Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Eagan, Minnesota. This role involves overseeing the technical project management of large-scale software development, including mobile and web applications, within a regulated environment. The position offers a leadership opportunity to coordinate complex projects from inception through deployment in a dynamic organization.
Position Overview for the Principal Delivery Manager:
Manage the delivery of multiple software products, including mobile apps for iOS and Android, and web apps for employees and participants.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product owners, and organizational stakeholders to ensure timely feature delivery.
Develop training guides, documentation, and standard procedures to expand software usage across the organization.
Track project progress, identify dependencies and obstacles, and proactively communicate issues and status updates.
Plan for new feature releases, align timelines, and manage operational impacts effectively.
Requirements for the Principal Delivery Manager:
5-10 years of software project delivery of custom software development with a portfolio of multiple products in a regulated environment.
Technical ability to understand APIs at a high level, software development and design principles, etc., to communicate effectively with a technical audience.
Requires experience building 0-1 software, not incremental project management of existing products.
Interest and ability to work in the details with the team to advance the project; hands-on role.
Advanced problem solving, pro-active, ability to solve for complexity creatively in regulated environments.
