IDR is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity that is 100% remote! This role involves supporting and maintaining enterprise network environments across multiple locations and cloud platforms. The company operates within a large-scale, highly distributed enterprise environment, focusing on network infrastructure, security appliances, and cloud connectivity.

Position Overview for the Network Security Engineer:

• Support and maintain enterprise network environments across corporate, cloud, and facility locations.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance issues, and outages independently.
• Configure and support network security appliances, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
• Support network connectivity between corporate offices, data centers, and cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, application, and support teams to ensure network integrity and performance.

Requirements for the Network Security Engineer:

• 3–5+ years of network engineering or network administration experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking and hands-on experience with Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco, or similar technologies.
• Experience with TCP/IP fundamentals, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).
• Exposure to or experience with supporting Azure and AWS networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and communicate findings clearly.
