IDR is seeking a CAPPS Functional Consultant to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. Position offers the chance to support a large-scale HR/Payroll transformation environment in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

Position Overview for the CAPPS Functional Consultant

• Provide highly advanced senior-level consultative services and functional assistance supporting the CAPPS Program
• Deliver functional HR expertise, including workforce administration, TAM/CGo, HR security setup, and interpretation of state statutes, HR policies, and labor regulations
• Serve as a point of contact for CAPPS agencies with functional support for the CAPPS HR/PY application
• Support the functional design phase by creating and/or reviewing Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and performing functional configuration system changes
• Configure and optimize CAPPS functional components, including PeopleSoft-delivered capabilities such as Page/Field Configurator, Drop Zones, Event Mapping, Page Composer, and workflow (AWE-Approval Workflow Engine)

Requirements for the CAPPS Functional Consultant:

• Extensive Texas public sector experience, directly working for or supporting a Texas state government agency
• Extensive experience supporting the HR module in PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policy
• Extensive knowledge of federal labor laws
• Experience preparing WCAG 2.1-compliant materials for distribution
