IDR is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Nashville, TN. This role involves supporting the development and maintenance of a cloud-based Snowflake data repository and related business intelligence. The organization is focused on public health data management, working within a government environment to enhance data infrastructure and analysis.
Position Overview for the Snowflake Data Engineer:
- Support development and administration of the TDH Snowflake Platform (SPARK).
- Assist with onboarding activities, including data ingestion, validation, and transformation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
- Develop, test, and optimize pipelines, scripts, and automation for data onboarding and management.
- Support business intelligence projects and help implement quality assurance protocols.
Requirements for the Snowflake Data Engineer:
- Significant experience in public health or health data analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting Snowflake data solutions.
- Proficiency with SQL Server (5+ years), including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration tools such as SSIS.
- Experience working within an AWS environment, including scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.
