IDR is seeking a Systems Engineer, Endpoint Management to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will support and enhance a large-scale endpoint management environment, helping ensure secure, reliable patching and software delivery across a complex enterprise.
Position Overview for the Systems Engineer, Endpoint Management:
- Design, support, and maintain an enterprise endpoint management environment using Microsoft Configuration Endpoint Manager (MCEM/MECM) and SCCM
- Drive operating system and application lifecycle initiatives, including Windows upgrades and Office application upgrades
- Build and maintain task sequences for software and operating system deployments across a large fleet
- Develop and support endpoint automation using PowerShell and Intune scripting to improve standardization and efficiency
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to keep systems secure, current, and operating at peak performance
Requirements for the Systems Engineer, Endpoint Management:
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Configuration Endpoint Manager (MECM/MCEM) and SCCM in an enterprise environment
- Strong experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting task sequences for OS/software deployments
- Proven ability to install, troubleshoot, and support SCCM client deployments at scale
- Practical experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management (including scripting/automation)
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills and experience supporting Windows OS patching and troubleshooting
