Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Linux System Administrator:

• Administer and maintain Linux systems within an HPC environment, focusing on educational support for undergraduate students.
• Manage and support Open OnDemand, ensuring seamless access to computing resources.
• Utilize Bash/shell scripting for system administration tasks and automation.
• Collaborate with our client's team to troubleshoot and maintain reliable HPC services.
• Support workload management technologies like Slurm, enhancing user experience.

Required Skills for Linux System Administrator:

• Proven experience in Linux Systems Administration.
• Expertise in Open OnDemand and strong Bash/shell scripting skills.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Ability to thrive in an HPC or research computing environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
