IDR is seeking a Network Administrator 1 to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves managing and supporting network infrastructure within a structured environment. The company is committed to maintaining secure and reliable IT operations, ensuring seamless connectivity and data protection.
Position Overview for the Network Administrator 1:
- Administer and support VM infrastructure, including Nutanix environments, and manage server backups with Rubrik.
- Support Office 365 administration, including email management and user support.
- Manage basic network configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls, switches, and other network components.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure security.
- Monitor and maintain security systems such as cameras, card readers, and related infrastructure.
Requirements for the Network Administrator 1:
- 2 - 4 years of experience in networking
- Strong knowledge of virtual machine infrastructure and of server and file backups.
- Solid Microsoft Office 365 administration experience.
- Understanding of core networking fundamentals: what a network is, what an IP address is and its purpose, what DNS is and what it does, basic knowledge of network infrastructure, including firewalls and switches.
- Ability to pass a full background check and polygraph test required.
