IDR is seeking a Software Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Seattle, WA. This role focuses on designing scalable backend architectures and building modern applications in a hybrid cloud environment. The company operates within the technology industry, emphasizing innovative software solutions and cloud services.

Position Overview for the Software Architect:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, distributed backend architectures, including microservices and APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure seamless integration using REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Drive the adoption of containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable application deployment.
• Leverage deep expertise in Go (Golang), relational data modeling, and performance tuning for high-traffic environments.
• Utilize cloud services across Azure and AWS to optimize infrastructure, security, and storage solutions.

Requirements for the Software Architect:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2–3+ years in an architect or lead engineer role.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and building backend services in Go (Golang).
• Deep experience with relational data modeling and performance tuning for MySQL in high-traffic/large-data environments.
• Experience with React for building modern, component-based front-end applications.
• Expertise with Azure cloud services for application hosting, storage, networking, and security.
