IDR is seeking a Linux OpenShift Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This team operates in the enterprise IT and cloud infrastructure space, focusing on containerized application deployment and management across hybrid environments.
Position Overview for the Linux OpenShift Engineer:
- Support the design, deployment, and management of containerized applications and OpenShift clusters in enterprise environments
- Administer Linux systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and security
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Work with container technologies including Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes to automate and streamline deployment processes
- Integrate OpenShift with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, handling upgrades, migrations, and ongoing support
Requirements for the Linux OpenShift Engineer:
- Strong Linux system administration experience
- Deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes orchestration
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and integration with OpenShift
- Ability to automate tasks and monitor system performance using tools like Prometheus and Splunk
