Dynamics 365 Enterprise Solution Architect
Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 6 months though rarely exercises this right)
Location: Must be local to either Chicago IL, Atlanta GA, or New York NY
Responsibilities:
Define and maintain the target architecture for Dynamics 365 CE and F&O, aligned with business goals and the transformation roadmap.
Ensure architectural alignment with Calandra Phase 1 End-State and Medallion Data Architecture.
Govern architectural decisions across POD-based delivery teams and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.\
Lead the re-platforming of legacy AX 2009 ERP and CRM systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Architect data flows between Dynamics 365 and Databricks to support systems like Pet Registry and Microchip Registry.
Enable AI-powered capabilities such as Copilot-generated customer interaction summaries and forecasting.
Architect seamless integrations with third-party and internal platforms, including:
Shopify, Espresa, Paymentech, SendGrid
Databricks Lakehouse (bronze-silver-gold layers)
Microsoft Dataverse and Customer Insights
Required Skills:
12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with 5+ years focused on Dynamics 365 CE & F&O.
Deep expertise in:
D365 Sales, Service, Finance, and SCM modules
Azure Integration Services, Databricks, and the Microsoft Power Platform
Dual-write, Dataverse, Customer Insights, and Copilot
Proven experience leading large-scale ERP/CRM transformations and data platform modernization.
Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, security, and compliance frameworks.
