IDR is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado. This role focuses on designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines within the Databricks ecosystem, utilizing modern frontend and backend frameworks to support robust data analytics and processing systems.

Position Overview for the Full Stack Engineer:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and distributed processing systems using Python, SQL, and PySpark within the Databricks ecosystem.
• Architect and optimize Delta Lake data models, ensuring high-performance storage, version control, and reliable data lineage.
• Develop and orchestrate production workflows using Databricks Workflows, Databricks Jobs, and/or Apache Airflow.
• Implement robust data governance and access controls through Unity Catalog, managing permissions, auditing, and metadata standards.
• Build reusable ETL frameworks and transformation logic leveraging Spark and analytics engineering best practices (e.g., dbt).

Requirements for the Full Stack Engineer:

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark, with experience in ETL and distributed data processing.
• Strong experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Backend development skills with Node.js, FastAPI or Flask, and familiarity with REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of authentication systems including OAuth, Azure AD, or Okta.
• Experience with data governance, such as Unity Catalog, and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Databricks Jobs.
