IDR is seeking a passionate and experienced Esports Product Lead to join one of our top clients in the gaming industry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the esports scene for our client's upcoming 2D fighting game, 2XKO.   • Oversee Esports Operations: Manage the planning, execution, and evaluation of 2XKO esports initiatives, including setting goals, overseeing budgets, and delivering insightful reports on performance metrics.
  • Ecosystem Collaboration: Collaborate with fighting game tournament organizers, team owners, and pros to make 2XKO a premier title in the competitive fighting game scene worldwide.
  • Align Competitive and Game Experiences: Work closely with publishing and game development teams to seamlessly integrate major game moments with 2XKO's competitive ecosystem.
  • Champion Player Recognition: Partner with content, social, and influencer teams to spotlight standout 2XKO players, fostering fandom and community growth around rising superstars.
  Required Skills for ESports Product Lead:  
  • 7+ years of experience in esports product management or tournament management
  • Deep knowledge of the fighting game community (FGC)
  • Experience in partnership development and community management
  • Experience building new initiatives/products from the ground up
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver clear communications in 1-to-many settings
  • Ability to negotiate and accomplish deals with tournament organizers, production companies, broadcasters
