Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Federal Contracts Specialist:
Consultation, management, and execution of federal contracts
Ensuring compliance with Public Sector contract policies and procedures
Utilizing problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions and support customers
Working independently to achieve clear, defined missions
Applying knowledge of the FAR and DFARS across various contract types and their lifecycle
Required Skills for Federal Contracts Specialist:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in contract consultation, contract management, and agreements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Strong problem-solving skills and customer support abilities
Proficiency in specific systems and technologies relevant to contract management
Working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with DoD contracting procedures and requirements
Ability to read and interpret contractual terms
Professional certifications such as CPCM, CFCM, Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C), or DAWIA certification
