IDR is seeking an Automation Test Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Rochester, Minnesota. This role focuses on developing automated tests for mobile and web applications within a dynamic technology environment. The organization specializes in research trial systems, leveraging cutting-edge automation tools and methodologies.
Position Overview for the Automation Test Developer:
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for mobile and web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing strategies and frameworks
- Design reusable and low-maintenance automation solutions using scripting languages
- Implement testing best practices and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Support performance testing efforts using tools like Jmeter and Blazemeter
Requirements for the Automation Test Developer:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or related field preferred
- Six years of experience in programming and systems analysis
- 3+ years of professional experience developing web and mobile test automation scripts
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Playwright
- Ability to design, develop, and execute automated tests using scripting languages like Java, C#, Visual Basic, or Python

Compensation details: $40 - 45/hr W2
