IDR is seeking a Data Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Jackson, MS. This role involves supporting critical state projects related to social services programs, utilizing advanced data pipeline techniques and collaborating with diverse teams to ensure data integrity and efficient reporting.

Position Overview for the Data Engineer:

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using Databricks
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and analyze data requirements
• Support data modeling, transformation, and reporting processes to ensure data integrity and alignment with program needs
• Implement and maintain data quality and integration frameworks
• Prepare technical and functional design documentation to support solution delivery

Requirements for the Data Engineer:

• 8+ years' of hands-on experience developing and managing data pipelines
• Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
• Proven ability to analyze data requirements and design scalable, efficient solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
• Prior experience working within the Child Support Enforcement (CSE) domain
