IDR is seeking a CAPPS Financials Reporting Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role involves providing advanced reporting support within the Texas public sector, focusing on financial modules and statewide data systems. The organization is a government agency committed to efficient financial management and data integrity across statewide programs.
Position Overview for the CAPPS Financials Reporting Analyst:
Perform highly advanced (senior-level) consultative services and functional assistance work related to supporting the CAPPS Program.
Develop, modify, and maintain reports using PeopleSoft reporting tools such as Query Manager / Query Viewer, BI Publisher, and complex joins.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring reports align with statewide policies and agency needs.
Work closely with functional analysts and business owners to gather report requirements, validate logic, and ensure data accuracy.
Support reporting during upgrades, patches, and project releases, including impact analysis and remediation.
Requirements for the CAPPS Financials Reporting Analyst:
Extensive Texas public sector experience, directly supporting or working for a Texas state government agency.
Extensive experience in reporting support for the financial modules in PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policy.
Extensive knowledge of Financials Table Entity Relationship Diagrams.
Extensive experience designing, executing, and documenting structured UAT and regression testing during upgrades, PUM cycles, or patch deployments.
