Data Privacy Program Lead

Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
C2C Pay Rate: $85.00

Responsibilities:

Lead a large-scale, multi-year Data Privacy Program from inception to delivery across enterprise environments.
Act as the primary interface for the client, including CXO-level stakeholders, aligning privacy strategies with business goals.
Translate complex regulatory and technical requirements into actionable implementation plans and deliverables.
Provide guidance on consent management (cookie/user), DSAR workflows, data retention, and remediation across multiple platforms.
Configure and deploy privacy tools and components (e.g., data scanning, classification, policies, scanning profiles, and assessments).
Support the rollout and integration of BigID, Collibra, ServiceNow, and other platforms across structured and unstructured data environments.
Define and execute best practices around Data Trust, governance, and automation of privacy workflows.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 2 years in a customer-facing leadership role.
8+ years in data analysis and advanced SQL across RDBMS, NoSQL, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Hands-on experience with data privacy compliance tools such as BigID or equivalent, including configuration for scanning, DSAR, consent, and data retention.
Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ERDs, and referential integrity.
Experience in managing enterprise-scale privacy and compliance initiatives with a focus on implementation and remediation.
Proven experience with Privacy Portal Apps, PIA, RoPA, and integration with ServiceNow.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud-native deployments.
