AWS Developer (Generative AI / LLM) — Contract — Onsite in Lansing, MI
We’re seeking an experienced AWS Developer to support a high-visibility enterprise initiative. This is a 6+ month contract with onsite work in Lansing, MI (relocation candidates welcome).
What you’ll do
Design and develop Generative AI applications leveraging LLMs, AI agents, and agentic frameworks
Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for enterprise use cases
Develop Python services for LLM orchestration and AI workflows
Implement prompt engineering strategies and structured LLM outputs
Build and integrate REST APIs using FastAPI
Build and deploy scalable AWS solutions using Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, OpenSearch, and CloudFormation
Develop Q&A / conversational AI solutions using AWS Bedrock
Support Amazon Connect configuration, contact flows, and administration
What we’re looking for
Strong hands-on experience with AI Agents and agentic AI frameworks
Advanced Python development experience
Proven experience with LLM orchestration and RAG architectures
Experience with LLM evaluation techniques/frameworks
Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI
Strong AWS experience, including:
CloudFormation
API Gateway
Fargate
Lambda
Amazon OpenSearch
Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock (Q&A/chatbot solutions)
Experience with Amazon Connect (contact flows/admin.
