Summary:
KPMG is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture / iServer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support an enterprise architecture initiative with the New York State Department of Health. This individual will be responsible for the administration, configuration, integration, and ongoing optimization of the iServer enterprise architecture repository, while helping establish and maintain architecture standards across the Medicaid enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup, configuration, administration, and ongoing maintenance of the iServer repository.
- Maintain repository data and metadata, ensuring integrity, security, accessibility, and availability.
- Develop and maintain repository structures capable of cataloging and linking enterprise architecture artifacts, including:
- Target Operating Models
- BPMN-compliant process flows
- Logical and physical application architectures
- Business and technology architecture models
- Establish and maintain an enterprise metamodel for Medicaid systems.
- Align repository structures and architecture models with MITA, CMS compliance standards, TOGAF, ArchiMate, and BPMN.
- Establish architecture governance policies, modeling standards, templates, and configuration controls.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams to manage and optimize the underlying iServer database, including maintenance, backups, recovery, and performance tuning.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience setting up, configuring, administering, and maintaining iServer repositories.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining repository data integrity, security, availability, and organizational standards.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture design, architecture modeling, standards, and related tools such as iServer.
- Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of architecture frameworks and modeling standards, including:
- Experience developing architecture models across multiple business and technology domains.
- Strong understanding of enterprise repository organization, metamodels, architecture governance, and modeling practices.
- Bachelor's degree required.
