IDR is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting enterprise database administration, replication, and data integration initiatives within a leading organization in the technology and consulting industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Oracle databases, supporting high-availability environments, and working with enterprise data replication tools.
Position Overview for the Senior Oracle Database Engineer:
- Manage and optimize Oracle database environments to ensure high performance and data integrity.
- Support enterprise data replication processes using HVR and other data integration tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, implementing solutions for optimal efficiency.
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities to safeguard data.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support enterprise applications and initiatives.
Requirements for the Senior Oracle Database Engineer:
- 10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
- Expertise in Oracle database performance tuning.
- Proven experience with HVR replication and data integration.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Experience with database backup, recovery, security, and access management.
