Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Benefits and Compensation Manager:
  • Oversee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives, with a strong focus on the U.S., collaborating with regional HR and management globally.

  • Manage compensation strategies, including salary structures and incentive plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Conduct market analysis to maintain competitive and fair compensation and benefits aligned with industry trends and regional standards.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with benefits providers, brokers, and vendors to ensure efficient communication and streamlined processes.

  • Lead benefit provider negotiations and renewals, evaluating performance for quality service and cost-effectiveness.

  • Work with teams and vendors to update systems and processes for annual enrollment changes.

  • Manage the annual salary review process, including benchmarking and salary adjustments.

  • Collaborate with HR and management to maintain job descriptions and hourly base rates.

  • Oversee benefits plan audits, monitor administrative costs, and recommend cost-saving alternatives.

  • Manage employee benefits administration within the HRIS.

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on compensation and benefits-related matters.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.

Required Skills for Benefits and Compensation Manager:
  • 5–7 years of experience in compensation and benefits management.

  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits laws and regulations.

  • HR certifications (e.g., GPHR, CEBS) are a plus.
