Senior Electrical Engineer
Position Overview
This company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Hagerstown, Maryland. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience. They will be responsible for working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams and should have experience with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis. The candidate should also have knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles and experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical (preferred), AutoCAD or others.
Required Skills for Senior Electrical Engineer
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
- Experience with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
- Experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical (preferred), AutoCAD or others
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA)
- Knowledge of guidance and certification of aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS)
- Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
