Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Manager of Software Engineering:

• Lead a diverse software engineering team, fostering a culture of communication, collaboration, and continuous learning

• Perform team management functions including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management

• Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Engineering, and QA teams to understand business processes and system functionality

• Break down complex business requirements to perform detailed technical analysis, solution design, and work estimation

• Develop, implement, enhance, and maintain .NET software applications, Web APIs, services, reports, integration processes, and SQL Server database objects

• Provide level two/three production support for assigned systems, applying experience and knowledge to analyze, control, escalate, and resolve critical support issues in a timely fashion when needed

Required Skills for Manager of Software Engineering:

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer

• Backend Skills: C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework Core, MS-SQL

• Frontend Skills: React (v18), Redux, TypeScript, RTK Query, JEST unit testing, HTML, CSS

• Developer Tools: Bitbucket (Git), JIRA, Azure DevOps, Postman, Swagger, etc.

• Strong leadership and teaming skills, professional attitude, enthusiastic, collaborative, and approachable

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
