IDR is seeking a dedicated and experienced Database Administrator to join one of our top clients in a 100% remote role. This role is perfect for a professional with a strong background in database management systems and data migration, particularly within healthcare EHR systems. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Database Administrator: - Support the migration efforts of the integrated resident information system, including comprehensive planning, data assessment, cleansing, and mapping to ensure compatibility with the new system. - Ensure that design complies with our client's standards, including setting up validation and auditing processes to maintain data integrity post-migration. - Perform necessary testing of the migration process, including creating and executing Unit test scripts, managing test scenarios, analyzing test results, and debugging issues. - Provide regular updates on the migration progress to all project stakeholders, using ticketing systems for information sharing and problem resolution. - Facilitate the smooth transition to the new system by providing strategic oversight and support post-migration, including training end-users, preparing comprehensive system documentation, and recommending strategies for optimizing system performance. Required Skills for Database Administrator: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in database management systems and data migration, with a strong emphasis on healthcare EHR systems. - Experience in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar database scripting. - Business analysis skills, including reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user requirements, operational procedures, and identifying solutions to automate processes or enhance system functionality. - Exceptional oral and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal abilities to support diverse teams and inspire high productivity and collaboration among team members. - In-depth knowledge of current IT industry trends and market insights.
