Location: This role is a remote role, but candidates must be located in Colorado
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Project Manager:
Project Management: Assist in the development of consistent division and program procedures and manuals for programmatic financial processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with teams across the Office of Program, Program Managers, and the Office of Finance to identify and clarify responsibilities.
Procedure Development: Standardize operating procedures using existing policies, while refining key tools such as roles and responsibilities matrices and fiscal documentation.
Training Assessment: Identify training needs for Program Managers to effectively implement their financial roles and responsibilities.
Process Evaluation: Analyze current systems and provide strategic recommendations for standardization and process improvement.
Documentation & Reporting: Ensure alignment of procedures with operational and financial requirements, and maintain clear records of changes and progress.
Required Skills for Project Manager:

Senior-level project or program management experience (5+ years, ideally 10)

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Excellent communication skills and experience engaging cross-functional teams

Experience evaluating systems and standardizing processes

Previous government or public sector experience is a plus

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Details: $60-70/hr based on experience
