Target Pay Rate: $64/hr C2C Location: Livingston, NJ Work schedule details: Hybrid Details: The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based systems. The role involves ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cloud adoption and innovation. A strong proficiency in Terraform is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using industry best practices. • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency. • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective cloud usage and integration. • Ensure cloud security, compliance, and governance. • Monitor cloud environments and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: • 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud computing and infrastructure management. • At least 3 years of experience with Azure cloud platforms in a technical or operational role. • Proven experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices. Certifications: • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-400) are a plus. Technical Skills: • Cloud Computing Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud services, including infrastructure, software, and platform as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS). • Cloud Management Tools: Proficiency in using cloud management and optimization tools. • Terraform: Extensive experience in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. • Security: Experience with secure coding practices and cloud security tools. Soft Skills: • Experience in a DevOps environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Adaptability and ability to work in a dynamic environment. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
