Observability Engineer
  • Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
  • Location: Hartford, CT
  • C2C Pay Rate: $75/HR
Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years in IT operations, observability, or SRE roles.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace (OneAgent, ActiveGate, Davis AI).

  • AWS monitoring experience (EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS) and database monitoring (Oracle, SQL Server).

  • Solid knowledge of Golden Signal metrics and how to track them effectively.

  • Experience in Kubernetes monitoring (EKS) and container observability.

  • Scripting and automation experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Familiarity with Splunk and distributed tracing standards (OpenTelemetry, W3C).
