Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide psychological services that support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success of students. This role will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student well-being, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and contribute to creating safe and inclusive learning environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services.

  • Provide counseling, intervention, and crisis response services to students as needed.

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement evidence-based interventions that support learning and behavior.

  • Contribute to the development, review, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans.

  • Consult with staff and families regarding student progress, classroom strategies, and mental health supports.

  • Collect and analyze data to inform decision-making and measure intervention effectiveness.

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, including IDEA and Section 504.

  • Promote social-emotional learning and mental health awareness across the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (Doctorate preferred).

  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.

  • Knowledge of psychological assessments, special education law, and evidence-based interventions.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations, staff, and families.
