Alan is very personable and easy to talk to. I really liked Alan's personality. Also, after my initial interview with Alan, he sent me a LinkedIn message to update me on the status of job application. He told me that the company has started interviewing some candidates and that Alan would reach out to me if these fall through and I really appreciate this. Most recruiters do not contact you first if they are not proceeding to the next step with you. I always had to contact them first to follow up which I don't mind. However, when a recruiter gets back to you first to keep you in the loop, that makes my experience with the recruiter so much better.
