Courtney joined the FGP team in 2012 as a Business Coordinator based in our Columbia office. After learning her craft and showing a passion for serving, she was promoted to Recruiter. Her talent for spotting great candidates and her natural ability for building relationships has positioned her for success. Courtney is a recipient of the FGP Great Person of the Year award, given annually to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of one individual.

Prior to joining FGP Courtney worked at EDENS: Connective Retail, a Columbia-based developer of vibrant retail centers across the country. She assisted the executive team responsible for more than 100 properties and six regional offices across East Coast. Courtney is a graduate of the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource and Marketing.

About Courtney Wilson:

I have been struggling to find a job in SC for 10 months, i kind of lost hope. I applied for the posting late at night and she called me first thing in the morning. After talking to Courtney and hearing about MECA I had hope. She immediately got me a interview and gave me advice and is showing me how to use teams just so im comfortable. I get thats her job but the willingness to help and her tone took me from feeling a very high level of anxiety to feeling calm and feeling like I have a very good chance at getting the job. She went above and beyond in my book

Courtney was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She was friendly and professional as she explained the position I would be interviewing for and following up with me to hear my feelings on how the interview went. This is how the job market needs to adjust to AI in the recruiting space. Get rid of it in favor of a human touch.
