I was born in Grand Forks but moved to Denver when I was young. After completing high school I returned to the area to attend college at the University of Minnesota, Crookston for Business Management and Marketing. I ended up working in Hospitality before finding a job with a potato implement manufacturer as their Purchasing Manager. From there I went on to auto sales and then back to hospitality as a supervisor of a very nice hotel in Grand Forks. It was there I made my connection with Doherty and through the efforts of one of their Career Solutions representatives I became a Staffing Specialist. In between all that I met, proposed, and married my wife, Sam and have a golden retriever Apollo.

Why I love recruiting...

Recruiting to me is a chance to provide opportunity. Giving people the opportunity to create a future and grow them selves professionally really makes recruiting worth while.

When I'm not working, I love to...

When I am not at work I spend my time golfing when I can. I love to hunt, but find myself having less and less time to do so. Come winter I become a hermit and my inner nerd comes out in the form of comic books and some video games. I enjoy spending time with my wife and finding different creative date ideas to keep her on her toes!
