My name is McKenna Ellis and I was born and raised in Vancouver WA! I attended college at the University of Oregon, and soon after graduating I went to Europe for a few months, which I believe started my love for travel. In 2017, I moved down to San Diego and started my career in Travel Nurse Recruiting. After 3 amazing years in Socal, I made my way back to the Portland Oregon area and began working for Coast Medical Service! I love dogs, being outdoors and talking to amazing nurses every single day.

Why I love to recruit
It is very rewarding being able to help clinicians explore the US while assisting hospitals that really need extra help. Travel Nursing allows nurses to expand their learning and really reach their full potential.

When I'm not working I like to
Go to the beach, hike, actively search for dogs online to adopt and go to happy hour!

I have had many agencies contact me and want to work with me. Many dropped the ball right up front due to lack of following up in a timely manner as well as just not showing interest in my search for a job. McKenna from the start made me feel very comfortable and was always made herself available to answer ant questions I had plus she took the time to get to know my background in order to find the beat job suited for me.
