Anneliese Monkman

October of this year marked my first full year working in staffing and recruiting. Prior to this I worked in Event Management, so it's been quite a shift but I am enjoying learning more about this industry every day. Bangor, Maine has been home for the last 11 years, and prior to that I lived in rural Maine and the suburbs of Boston. I studied Journalism and Entertainment Production at the New England School of Communications at Husson University. I also have three rescued cats and one (very spoiled) rescued Chihuahua mix.

Why I love to recruit
It's a little like a puzzle, I get to match the people to the job. And I've always worked best helping others. Recruiting is a delightful mix of the two.

When I'm not working I like to
Have too many hobbies. I read, embroider and do a lot of crossword puzzles. I also play games of all types, hike and swim, explore the brewery and food scene here in Maine, and I am on a VERY competitive bar trivia team.
