Our client a Trading Technology Firm is seeking a seasoned Web Developer/Architect who has developed high-performance real-time user interfaces with complex streaming event data. The tech stack is Typescript/React on the frontend and C#/.NET on the backend, built on top of gRPC services. While visual design skills are welcome, the primary focus of this role is technical implementation.   Key Responsibilities:
  • You would be responsible for picking the design patterns to enhance the front-to-back stack for the web applications. This role requires expertise in frameworks, data transmission, and caching strategies to make scalable and performant web applications.
  • A key component of the UI would be developing highly performant data grids that support grouping and pivot-like capabilities across many dimensions. You would be familiar with all aspects of optimizing the browser rendering and data delivery to minimize latency for large volumes of data.
  • You would be expected and encouraged to go ‘outside your lane’ and work on other architectural components as needed to bridge any gaps needed to support the web-centric initiatives. This can include identifying and bringing in other technologies where appropriate and/or changing 3rd party control libraries.
  • You will support user profiles for controls, dashboards, and widgets to allow customization and sharing by multiple users.
Hard requirements:    Technical:
  • 5-10+ years of experience
  • Have designed and built complex web applications with React, worked at 50%+ on the front-end for at least 2 a two-year period. (5+ years of experience overall)
  • Proficient in C#.NET (5+ years of experience)
  • Comfortable working with web frontends that have a mix of slowly and fast-changing data - caching and optimizing data transmission.
  • Practical experience in using web sockets to render massive amounts of streaming data to the web frontends
Nice to Have:
  • Expertise in using electron-based containers (like OpenFin, Finsemble) and communicating with other applications on windows desktop
  • Experience with data visualization frameworks
  • Experience in scaling out the middle-tier data distribution layer (i.e. distributed caches, messaging, etc.)
  • Experience with alert aggregation, distribution, notification, and acknowledgement

IT Technical Support Specialist (SAP)

Our direct client looking for a value driven IT Technical Support Specialist - SAP User Provisioning to join their IT department’s Helpdesk team. This position provides leadership, knowledge and technical skills to support the company's SAP landscape and general IT support. You will collaborate with Business Analysts, Technical Support Engineers and SAP consultants.

They are embarking on an exciting journey to migrate to SAP's HANA based systems and this role will also be supporting those efforts. This position will be based in their Monroe, CT office. After 3 months of employment, you will be eligible for a hybrid schedule. 

Principal Responsibilities
  • Use SAP tools to configure, maintain and delete SAP roles and user accounts within SAP modules. (e.g., Core ECC, CRM, BW Mobile and Portal)
  • Maintain an auditable change management workflow for SAP role modification requests and user access changes.
  • Maintain a consistent process for testing, implementation, and maintenance of roles across SAP applications.
  • Work with end-users and the Help Desk to quickly resolve user access and configuration issues.
  • Assist in the design of new functionality as additional requirements are identified by users.
  • Work with internal and external auditors in the identification and correction of access points within SAP.
  • Escalate issues to IT Management team and BASIS administrator in a timely manner
  • Provide IT help desk support including technical troubleshooting for all personal computer hardware (desktops, laptops, monitors, scanners, mobiles, etc.), all corporate standard software (Windows 10/11, Office 365, other business applications.), Windows networks and Citrix Metaframe servers and clients. 
  • Assist in the documentation and maintenance of all help desk policies and procedures, instructional documentation, technical specifications, test plans, etc.
Preferred Requirements
  • Broad working knowledge of Microsoft software applications including Windows 10/11, Office 365, and PC-compatible hardware. Basic SAP and S4 HANA knowledge strongly preferred.

  • Managing SAP User ID Permissions with Active Directory Group Administration.

  • Experience in communicating technical material to non-technical internal customers and to all levels of employees within the corporation.

  • Understanding and use of remote access technology.

  • Excellent customer service skills, particularly telephone skills.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to make decisions independently.

  • Project management knowledge and practical experience 

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to conceptualize, analyze, and take action
