Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading engineering and construction contractor to recruit a Project Manager to join its project team based in Bridgwater at Hinkley Point The Project Manager role offers both permanent and contract opportunities with a package of up to ยฃ75,000 for a permanent project manager, and up to ยฃ450 per day on a contract basis. If youโ€™re a Project Manager with experience working on multiple construction projects and are looking to work for an organisation that is involved in the exciting works down at Hinkley point C then submit your CV to apply today. ย  Responsibilities and duties of the Project Manager role Reporting to the Project Director you willย  be responsible for: ย 
  • Managing projects from initial planning through to successful completion.
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets and delivery schedules.
  • Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Managing NEC contract administration and supporting commercial activities.
  • Monitoring project performance, quality standards and risk management.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
  • Producing project reports and providing regular progress updates.
  • Supporting resource planning, recruitment and team development.
  • Promoting a positive health, safety and quality culture across all project activities.
ย  Professional qualifications ย  We are looking for someone with the following: ย 
  • Proven experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC3 contract administration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
  • Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation within construction.
  • Relevant Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to pass BPSS security clearance and Drugs & Alcohol testing.
  • Right to live and work in the UK.

  • Competitive Salary or Day Rate of up to ยฃ75,000 or ยฃ450 per day.
  • Full-time Monday- Friday role
  • Additional annual leave with length of service and Birthday leave.
