Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a large UK defence client to recruit a Planning Capability Lead (P6) on a 12-month contract (Hybrid) for its Bristol site.
The Planning Capability Lead (P6) role comes with an hourly rate of up to £80.00 per hour (inside of IR35).

Significant experience of project planning & scheduling management, control techniques and approaches.

Significant experience in the use, administration and database maintenance of scheduling toolsets such as P6 (preferred) and MSP.

Comprehensive experience of delivering/leading planning & scheduling management within projects and programmes for large and technically complex equipment or system delivery contracts.

Experience of using, or working alongside, related Project Controls software tools (or similar) such as Active Risk Manager, RiskHive, Deltec Cobra, Safran or Primavera Risk Analyser etc.

Experience of implementing / working within project planning & scheduling related governance frameworks that align to the Association for Project Management

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact successfully at all levels.

Experience of using ERP systems, including IFS (or similar) is desirable.
