Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a large UK defence client to recruit a Cost Management Lead on a 12-month contract (Hybrid) for its Bristol site.
The Cost Management Lead role comes with an hourly rate of up to £80.00 per hour (inside of IR35).
Key skills
-
Significant experience of project estimating and cost management / control techniques and approaches, including estimating, forecasting, performance reporting (i.e. EVM) and quantitative risk analysis etc.

Experience of delivering/leading estimating and cost management and control within customer facing projects and programmes for large and technically complex equipment or system delivery contracts.

Experience of using, or working alongside, related software tools such as MSP, P6, Active Risk Manager, RiskHive, Deltec Cobra, Safran or Primavera Risk Analyser etc.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact successfully at all levels.

Experience of implementing / working within project cost & estimating related governance frameworks that align to the Association for Project Management

Experience of using ERP systems, including IFS (or similar) is desirable.
