Electrical Operations & Maintenance Engineer – Solar

£30,000 - £40,000 DOE + Benefits
About the role:
Astute are partnered with a renewable energy company that design, build and operate Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine renewable energy systems throughout the UK. Due to growth, we are looking for an O&M Engineer to join their existing team and assist with the operations and maintenance for their renewable energy assets on various UK sites.
Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Head of O&M you will:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on all asset managed renewable energy sites.

Reviewing and monitoring all asset managed renewable energy sites on a rota basis

Identifying, recording, and responding to faults, with a proactive, problem solving approach.

Completing analysis of site performance to make improvements to ongoing operation.

Completing reports
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience of working with PV
-
Expereince in operations & Maintenance
-
Flexibility for working throughout the UK
-
Full UK driving license
Personal skills:
The Electrical Installer role would suit someone who is:
-
Experienced in working in solar O&M
-
Methodical, accurate and process focused approach.
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-
Computer Literacy.
Salary and benefits of the Electrical Engineer role:
-
Starting salary from £30,000 to £40,000 DOE

22 days holiday + bank holidays, extending to 25 days after 2 years
