Astute’s EPC Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor within the UK Power Industry to recruit a Multi Skilled Operative on a 4 months contract basis for their OCGT plant based in Stewartby, Bedfordshire.

 

The Multi Skilled Operative position come with an hourly rate from £13.00 to £16.00 per hour. The role is a CIS position.

 

 

Key skills and responsibilities: 

• Support the tradespeople on site by moving goods, cleaning machinery, and coordinating the works on site.
• Collecting items from the warehouse, plus preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup.
• Prepare the construction site for scaffolding and temporary works if and when required.
• Be on hand to assist to warehouse team when required for specific operative works.
• Must hold a valid CSCS card
• Banksman, Telehandler, or forklift qualification/license.
• Have experience working within the Power Industry as a General Operative.

 

 

Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Multi Skilled Operative roles:

 

• Stewartby, Bedfordshire
• £13.00 to £16.00 per hour (Inside IR35)
• Start date - October 2024
