Astute’s EPC Power team is partnering with a Leading Sub-Contractor within the UK Power Industry to recruit 2x Riggers on 8 month contracts for their Waste to Energy facility based in Cheshire
The Riggers will come with an hourly rate from £25.00 to £27.00.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- Main responsibility will be to work within a multi-disciplined team carrying out Rigging duties as specified.
- They are responsible for aligning and anchoring the machinery, attaching loads, controlling the movement of heavy equipment, and ensuring the rigging is safe for use.
- Working closely with the Health and Safety professionals on site to coordinator planned lifting of heavy equipment.
- Assemble temporary equipment such as scaffolding, Pre-cast fascades and other temporary works alongside the TWC coordinator on site.
- Inspecting and preparing loads that need to be moved.
- Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment.
- Valid CSCS certificate
- OSHA qualification

- £25.00 to £27.00 per hour
