Astute’s Power team is partnering with a large-scale European Engineering and Construction company to recruit as Night Shift Manager to oversee the Mechanical works on a 2-3 month contract for its Scotland site.
The Night Shift Manager role comes with a rate of £600-£750 per day.
Key skills:

Supervise and coordinate all mechanical construction works during night shifts.

Manage on-site mechanical subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications, HSE standards, and schedules.

Ensure work is executed in line with RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).

Conduct nightly site inspections and ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems and site policies.

Liaise with the day shift management team for seamless handover and progress tracking.

Report on productivity, quality, safety incidents, and equipment/materials status.

Monitor the execution of installation activities such as pipework, steelwork, ducting, mechanical packages, and equipment erection.

Ensure appropriate documentation and quality records are maintained.
