QA/QC Engineer

Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a QA/QC to join a EPC on a new build Energy from Waste project in South Scotland.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the QA/QC Engineer, you will need experience in the following;

Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
-
EU Directives
-
Harmonized Standards
-
CE Marking
-
UKCA Marking
-
Sound Engineering Practices (SEP)
-
Notified Body (NoBo)
David’s main roles:
- Site surveillance and verification of welding activities
- Site surveillance and verification of all tests on site
- Surveillance of the timely application of contractor quality procedures
- Operational support to QC checks of incoming materials
- Support as interface between STC supervisors and contractors' persons in charge
- Support in the management of quality documents of the subcontractors
- Support to the site quality office for construction and commissioning phases
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
-
Knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements.

Experience as Piping Engineer or Quality Manager.

Familiar with common NDT, quality procedures, and standards.

IOSH or equivalent international safety certificate as required.

Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass (ROl), CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalent.
