18th Edition (PowerWorks can fund this if needed)

Must be able to pass
MOD security clearance
· Preferably UK nationals or individuals with 5+ years in the UK
· European nationals acceptable if not from restricted countries

Physical capability required due to heavy lifting, battery handling, and long driving periods.
·
Must be comfortable working in
teams of two, with occasional solo maintenance tasks.
·
Experience with UPS systems beneficial; PowerWorks uses
PowerWorks-branded UPS.
Travel & On-Call

Regular travel across the UK, including:

London

Wales (major area)

Redcar & Cleveland

Doncaster
·
Overnight stays:
approx. one week per month, often split into single nights.
·
On-call rota:
1 week in 5, with backup support from other engineers.
· Overnight stays include:
· Premier Inn/Travelodge
· Own room
· £40/night subsistence allowance
Team Structure & Culture

Team of four engineers (two senior/older, two mid?career).

Strong team cohesion; engineers rotate partners regularly.

Two senior engineers expected to retire in the coming years ? future progression opportunities into senior/lead roles.
