Environment- Closed door, LTC pharmacy

Schedule- 8:30am-5:30pm: 3 shifts per wee - k9:30am-6:30pm: 2 shifts per week Saturdays (8:30am-2pm): 1 weekend per month Pay Ranges- 20.00-24.00 Job Overview

ASG Pharmacy is seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians specializing in Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy services. This critical role supports medication management for nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other long-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system accurately.

• Verify prescription details such as medication, dosage, and patient information.

• Process insurance verifications and resolve issues with claims.

• Maintain patient profiles with updated medication and personal information.

• Communicate with patients to confirm orders, answer questions, and provide updates.

• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure medication accuracy.

• Process e-prescriptions from healthcare providers.

• Monitor and manage inventory to ensure medication availability.

• Assist in medication preparation, such as counting, labeling, and packaging.

• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and pharmacy policies.

Qualifications

• Current Nebraska Pharmacy Technician license
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with long-term care pharmacy preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
