We are seeking a reliable and highly skilled Pharmacist at our pharmacy in Derby, CT. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to the well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Pharmacist Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently dispense prescribed medications to patients, ensuring proper dosage and instructions.
• Provide clear, thorough, and compassionate counseling to patients regarding their medications, including potential side effects, drug interactions, and proper administration.
• Review and verify prescriptions for legality, safety, and accuracy, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
• Work closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and other pharmacy staff to optimize patient care and medication therapy.
• Monitor medication stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Assist with other administrative and operational duties as required to support pharmacy functions.

Pharmacist Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Connecticut.
• At least 1-2 years of pharmacy practice experience (preferably in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting).
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical principles, drug therapy management, and medication safety.

Additional Information:

• Full-time hours, Monday through Friday (or as agreed upon as we are flexible).
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
