A closed door pharmacy in the Columbus, OH (New Albany) area is currently seeking Pharmacy Technicians. Whether you are new to the field of pharmacy or just looking for a change, this position is for you!
As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing outstanding pharmacy service to patients and partner organizations. Working with the pharmacy team, you will help maintain and drive an amazing, modern, and innovative pharmacy service.

Pharmacy Technician Description:
- Supports pharmacy and pharmacist services by stocking, labeling, assembling, and filling medications or other tasks as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
- Responsible for entering new and refilling prescriptions, speaking with facilities regarding medication clarification, and consulting with Pharmacists about orders.
- Practice all state and federal pharmacy regulations for the ordering, handling, and management of prescriptions and/or prescription drug products.
- Assist as-needed in maintenance of pharmacy inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs.
Pharmacy Technician Qualifications:
- Ohio Pharmacy Technician License required- Trainee, Registered or Certified.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
