Pharmacy Clerk for a Closed Door Mail Order Pharmacy

Job Description:

• Process Prescription Orders: Receive, review, and accurately process prescription orders received via mail, fax, or electronic systems.
• Data Entry: Enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy's computer system with precision and attention to detail.
• Labeling and Packaging: Prepare prescription medications for shipment by labeling, packaging, and ensuring proper documentation and safety measures are followed.
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing pharmacy inventory by monitoring stock levels, organizing medications, and alerting supervisors to low stock levels or discrepancies.
• Quality Assurance: Perform routine quality checks on prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies regarding prescription orders, billing, and medication information.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of prescription orders, shipments, and other relevant information in accordance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements.

Schedule - M-F, 8-5p, fully onsite 

Pay - $18-$20/hr

Licensing required - MUST have a Pharmacy Technician Trainee license valid in the state of AZ 

Benefits are offered while on contract with ASG-Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) contribution, and PTO accrued after 90 days
