Job Title: Staff Pharmacist

Pay: $62.50 - $67.50 per hour Hours: Rotating 8-hour shifts between 7AM - 11PM Start Date: ASAP

As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll be integral to ensuring safe medication practices, guiding healthcare professionals, and managing pharmacy operations efficiently. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team committed to delivering excellence in medication dispensing and patient safety.

What You’ll Do:

• Review prescriptions from authorized prescribers for accuracy, verifying formulations and ingredients.
• Compound sterile and non-sterile medications using standard formulas, including weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Lead pharmacy staff in tasks such as mixing, packaging, labeling, and processing prescriptions, ensuring all procedures adhere to compliance standards.
• Dispense medications accurately and provide counseling to nursing facility staff on proper medication use, promoting optimal patient outcomes.

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Minnesota Pharmacy License in good standing (Required).
• Extensive knowledge of compounding (both sterile and non-sterile) and prescription verification processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining high accuracy and standards of patient care.
• Preferred: Experience working in a long-term care or closed-door pharmacy setting.
