Job Title: Pharmacist – Urgently Hiring

Pay: $59-$61/hr

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Pharmacist for a full-time position for our client, a leading veterinary compounding pharmacy located in Chandler, Arizona. The Pharmacist will supervise pharmacy operations, ensure accurate compounding and dispensing of medications, and maintain compliance with USP guidelines and Board of Pharmacy regulations. The Pharmacist will demonstrate excellence in pharmaceutical care while leading a team dedicated to serving patients with precision and quality. 

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising pharmacy technicians in compounding preparations, filling and labeling prescriptions, and prepackaging bulk medications
• Communicating clarification of prescriptions or refill authorizations with prescribers and patients
• Performing final checks on prescriptions to ensure accuracy, pharmaceutical elegance, and potency
• Answering medication-related questions and overseeing compounding operations
• Adhering to USP guidelines and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations
• Performing other duties as assigned by management, the pharmacist in charge, shift leader, or supervisor

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
• Current Arizona Pharmacist License (willing to obtain licenses in multiple states)
